Definition
White-label: White-label describes software that one company builds and another sells under its own name. A white-label WhatsApp platform lets an agency or reseller offer WhatsApp Business API tools, such as campaigns, chatbots and a team inbox, with its own logo, domain and prices, while the platform provider runs the technology. Clients still use Meta's official API and follow Meta's rules and pricing.
Also called: Reseller platform, Private-label software, Rebranded WhatsApp panel
What is white-label WhatsApp, in practice?
Three parties are involved. Meta runs WhatsApp and the Cloud API, and bills messages. The platform provider builds the software: campaigns, chatbots, inbox, billing. The partner (an agency, reseller or SaaS company) sells that software to businesses under its own brand. The end client logs in at the partner's domain, sees the partner's logo and pays the partner's prices.
What changes and what does not
| Changes with white-label | Stays the same |
|---|---|
| Brand name, logo, colours, login address | Meta's messaging policy and template review |
| Plan names and prices clients pay | Meta's per-message pricing by category and country |
| Who clients contact for support | Messaging limits, quality rating, opt-in rules |
| Sales and margin | Partner status with Meta |
The last row matters. Reselling a white-label platform does not make an agency a Business Solution Provider or a Meta partner. Describe your service honestly, for example "WhatsApp Business API platform built on Meta's official Cloud API", and never promise approval, a verified badge or delivery.
Example: a digital agency in Indore
Priya's agency already manages ads for 40 local businesses. It launches "ChatKaro" on its own domain. A sweet shop client gets a ChatKaro login, connects its number and runs festival campaigns; Priya's team builds its order bot. Priya sets a monthly plan price for the software and a messaging rate above Meta's base charge, so she earns on both the subscription and usage. When the client asks "why was my template rejected?", Priya's team answers, because to the client ChatKaro is the product.
White-label with Broadchat
Broadchat is a white-label WhatsApp Business API platform built on Meta's official Cloud API and sold only through partners. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. Partners get:
- Logo (light and dark), favicon, colours, layouts, custom CSS and a custom menu; client panels show no Broadchat name.
- A ready subdomain, or your own domain by CNAME or A record, with SSL issued automatically.
- Plans, add-ons, coupons and free-trial controls; client wallets and your own messaging markup over Meta's base rate.
- Your own SMTP and SMS senders, a reseller chain for sub-agencies, and Partner API on the Enterprise tier.
Partner pricing is per client account and quoted on request; see pricing and the partner program. The white-label WhatsApp platform page lists the features, and the guide to starting a WhatsApp reseller business covers packaging and sales.

Frequently asked questions
Is white-label WhatsApp legal and allowed by Meta?
Yes, when the platform uses Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform and every client follows Meta's policies. What is not allowed is misrepresenting yourself as Meta or as a Meta partner if you are not one.
Do my clients pay Meta directly?
It depends on the setup. In Broadchat, clients prepay messaging into a wallet at the rates the partner sets, and Meta's charges are covered from that. The partner earns the difference between its rate and Meta's base rate.
Will my clients know which platform I use?
Client panels on a partner's domain carry the partner's brand and no Broadchat name. Meta's own screens, such as Embedded Signup, still show Meta and the app being connected.
