White-label WhatsApp API partner program
Your own WhatsApp platform, without building one
A white-label WhatsApp API lets you sell a complete WhatsApp Business API platform under your own brand, domain and prices. We run the software and the connection to Meta’s official Cloud API; you own the clients, the pricing and the margin.
The basics
What white-label WhatsApp API means
A white-label product is software one company builds and another sells as its own. For WhatsApp, that means a full platform on the WhatsApp Business API (campaigns, chatbots, a team inbox, CRM, automations and billing) that your clients know only by your name. They log in at app.yourbrand.com, see your logo, pay you, and raise support tickets with you. Broadchat stays in the background.
It is different from a referral programme, where you send a client to a vendor’s website and earn a commission while the vendor keeps the brand, the price and the relationship. It is also different from building your own platform, which means a Meta app, App Review, Embedded Signup, webhooks, billing and years of engineering. The trade-offs are in the comparison table further down.

Who it is for
Built for businesses that serve businesses
Digital and marketing agencies
Add WhatsApp marketing and chatbots to your retainers, under your agency brand.
Software and SaaS companies
Offer WhatsApp messaging inside your product line without building and maintaining it.
Resellers and consultants
Start a recurring-revenue WhatsApp business with your own plans and prices.
Industry specialists
Package WhatsApp for clinics, schools, retail, real estate or any niche you know well.
It works best when you already sell to businesses and have people who can onboard and support them: a marketing agency adding WhatsApp to retainers, a software company adding messaging to its product line, an SMS reseller moving clients to WhatsApp (see from SMS reseller to WhatsApp reseller), or a consultant who knows one industry well. It is not a passive income product: clients need help with templates, opt-in and chatbot flows, and that service is a large part of what they pay you for.
Fully white-labelled
Everything your clients see carries your brand
- Brand name, logos (light, dark, icon) and favicon
- Theme colours, layouts, login pages and custom CSS
- A ready panel address for every partner, plus your own custom domain
- Your privacy policy and terms links on the login page
- Emails and SMS sent through your own SMTP and SMS gateway
- Panel language, currency and translations
- Hide, rename or add menu items and products
Exactly what is branded
What carries your brand, and what does not
Partners ask this first, so here is the full list, including the few places that are not yours to brand.
| What your client sees | Whose brand | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Panel address | Yours | A ready, brand-neutral address from day one; connect your own domain (Growth and Enterprise plans) with a CNAME or A record in the URL Manager. SSL is issued automatically. |
| Login and sign-up pages | Yours | Your logo, colours, terms and privacy links |
| Customer panel | Yours | Logos for light and dark themes, favicon, app name, layouts, custom CSS; menus hidden, renamed or added |
| Language | Yours | 23 panel languages with your own translations, and “Translate using AI” for quick edits |
| Emails and SMS | Yours | Welcome emails, alerts and one-time passwords sent through your SMTP server and SMS gateway, from alert templates you edit |
| Prices and payments | Yours | Your plans, currency, coupons and checkout through your payment gateway |
| Support | Yours | Tickets come to your partner panel; your team can switch into a client account to help |
| Embedded Signup window | Meta | Connecting a number opens Meta’s own window, as on every official platform |
| WhatsApp messages | Your client | Recipients see your client’s display name, approved by Meta |
As a partner you work in your own partner panel, and your recharges are billed with Broadchat GST tax invoices. Your clients never see either. Setting up the domain step by step is covered in how to connect a custom domain to your white-label panel.
Run it like your own business
The tools to sell, bill and support
- Plans and add-ons with your own prices and billing cycles
- Your payment gateways for client payments and wallet recharges
- Messaging rates per country and category for your clients
- Client accounts, usage, payments and support tickets
- Sub-agencies and affiliate programs
- Partner API for provisioning and automation
The partner business
How the money flows: wallets, plans and payments
The wallets
- Your main partner wallet pays platform costs. You recharge it by bank transfer or UPI, and each payment is billed with a GST tax invoice.
- Your client’s wallet holds what the client pays you for plans and add-ons.
- Channel messaging wallets, one per WhatsApp number, hold prepaid balance for messages at the rates you set.
Plans and what you pay
You build plans from modules (campaigns, chatbot, inbox, CRM, automations, commerce and more) with billing cycles, included limits and prices in each currency you sell in. Add-ons and coupons sit on top, and a built-in free trial plan lets a prospect test for a few days once. When a client buys or renews a plan, your cost price for that client account and billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly) is debited from your main wallet. Whatever you charge above it is your plan margin. Partner pricing is quoted on request; see partner pricing for what each partner plan includes.
Messaging margin
Meta charges per delivered message by category and country. You set your clients’ rate as a percentage or flat markup over Meta’s base rate. The platform tracks the difference and settles it into your main wallet every week, on Monday at 00:00 IST. How to set a markup clients accept is covered in WhatsApp API reseller pricing and margins.
Getting paid by your clients
Clients pay you, not us. Connect your own Razorpay or Stripe account, or accept UPI and bank transfers. Plan payments and wallet recharges land in your account. Collecting GST from your clients is your responsibility as the seller; our post on GST invoicing for WhatsApp API resellers explains the basics.
Sub-agencies and affiliates
On the Enterprise partner plan you can sign up sub-agencies that resell under you, up to five levels deep. Each level sets the price its sub-partner pays and earns the difference. An affiliate program with links, commission rules and payouts lets freelancers refer clients to your brand. See how to build a sub-reseller network.

Worked example (illustrative)
Every number below is an assumption to show the arithmetic, not a Broadchat price or a result any partner has reported. The cost price is the same example value the calculator starts with; your real cost comes from your quote.
| Assumption | Value |
|---|---|
| Clients on a monthly plan | 10 |
| Your plan price per client per month | ₹2,500 |
| Your cost price per client account per month (example) | ₹1,000 |
| Messaging recharge per client per month | ₹3,000 |
| Your messaging markup | 15% |
| Plan margin: 10 × (₹2,500 − ₹1,000) | ₹15,000 |
| Messaging margin: 10 × ₹3,000 × 15 ÷ 115 | ₹3,913 |
| Monthly margin before costs | ₹18,913 |
A 15% markup on Meta’s ₹0.8631 per delivered marketing message to India (Meta rate card effective 1 Oct 2026, excl. GST) means your client pays about ₹0.9926, and you keep about ₹0.13 per message. Take away payment gateway fees, GST you collect and pay, and the time your team spends on onboarding and support. Many partners also charge one-time fees for setup, template writing and chatbot builds. Try other numbers in the WhatsApp reseller profit calculator.

Compare the routes
White-label vs referral vs building your own
| Factor | Referral | White-label | Build your own |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to first client | Days | Weeks | Many months |
| Upfront investment | None | Low: partner setup, demo account, wallet balance | High: developers, hosting, Meta onboarding |
| Brand clients see | The vendor’s | Yours | Yours |
| Who sets the price | The vendor | You | You |
| Who owns the client relationship | The vendor | You | You |
| Meta requirements on you | None | None beyond following the policy | Meta app, App Review, business verification, onboarding caps |
| Ongoing engineering | None | None | Permanent |
| Your income | Commission | Plan margin, messaging markup, services | All revenue, minus all costs |
| Biggest risk | Losing the client to the vendor | Depending on one platform | Cost and delay before break-even |
If WhatsApp is a favour you do for a client twice a year, refer. If you want it as a product line, white-label gets you there in weeks. Build only if you have engineers to spare for years and a reason no platform can serve your clients; even then, many software companies start on a white-label while they build. The full reasoning is in white-label vs referral vs building your own WhatsApp platform.
Questions to ask any white-label provider
- Is it built on Meta’s official Cloud API, with numbers connected through Embedded Signup into the client’s own business portfolio?
- Does any of the provider’s name show to clients anywhere: panel, emails, SMS, domain?
- Can you use your own payment gateways, and who holds the client’s money?
- How are Meta’s message charges billed, and can you set your own markup by country and category?
- What happens to your clients’ numbers if you leave? (Each client’s number sits in its own business portfolio, so the client keeps it and can share its WhatsApp account with another provider.)
What your clients get on the platform is described on the WhatsApp Business API page and the features page.
FAQ
White-label partner program questions
What does white-label WhatsApp API mean?
It means you sell a complete WhatsApp Business API platform under your own brand. Your clients log in on your domain and see your name, logo, colours, emails and prices. The platform provider runs the software and the connection to Meta’s Cloud API in the background; you own the client relationship and the margin.
Will my clients see the Broadchat name?
No. The customer panel is brand-neutral: on your domain it shows your name, logo and links only. Emails and SMS go out from your own senders and support tickets come to you. Meta’s Embedded Signup window is Meta’s own screen, and WhatsApp messages carry your client’s own display name.
How do I become a partner?
Apply at partner.broadchat.in/become-partner with your business details. We review each application and activate your partner panel once approved. You then add your brand, connect a domain, create plans and invite your first client.
How much does the partner program cost?
Partners pay a cost price per client account for each billing cycle, debited from the partner wallet when a client buys or renews a plan. The price depends on the number of client accounts, the billing cycle and the modules you resell, so it is quoted on request rather than published. Contact us for a quote.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. You create plans and add-ons with your own prices, billing cycles, limits and currency, and set the messaging rates your clients pay as a percentage or flat markup over Meta’s base rate for each country and category.
Who collects payments from my clients?
You do. Connect your own Razorpay or Stripe account, or accept UPI and bank transfers. Client plan payments and wallet recharges go to your account. Your own payment gateways, custom domain and email and SMS senders are part of the Growth and Enterprise partner plans.
How do I earn from messaging?
Your clients prepay a messaging wallet at the rates you set. The difference between your rate and Meta’s base rate is your messaging margin, which the platform settles into your main partner wallet every week (Monday 00:00 IST).
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Every partner gets a ready panel address straight away, and you can connect your own domain, such as app.yourbrand.com, with a CNAME or A record in the URL Manager, on the Growth and Enterprise partner plans. The SSL certificate is issued automatically.
Can I run sub-agencies or affiliates?
Yes, on the Enterprise partner plan. You can add sub-agencies that resell under you, up to five levels deep, set the price each one pays you and keep the difference, and run an affiliate program with links, commission rules and payouts.
Do my clients need their own Meta business portfolio?
Yes. Each client connects its own number through Meta’s Embedded Signup into its own business portfolio, so the client owns its WhatsApp account. Clients must follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, including opt-in for marketing messages, and Meta’s messaging limits apply to each portfolio.
Do I need to be a Meta partner or BSP?
No. Broadchat is built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) and handles the Meta integration, so you do not need your own Meta app or partner status. Broadchat is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.
Do I need a technical team?
No. Branding, domains, plans, clients and billing are managed from the partner panel without code; a custom domain only needs a DNS record. A Partner API is available on the Enterprise plan if you want to automate provisioning.
