Broadchat vs Interakt: two routes to selling WhatsApp under your own brand
Interakt offers unlimited agents, WhatsApp plus Instagram and an ISV white-label track; Broadchat is a partner-first white-label panel. A dated, sourced look at who each one suits.

In short
Interakt is a strong self-serve choice for Indian businesses: unlimited agents on every paid plan, WhatsApp and Instagram together, native payments and catalogs, and published INR prices. It publishes its own message prices, which sit above Meta's India rates, and removes the markup only on Enterprise. Its ISV track promises "your brand, your pricing". Broadchat is built only for the partner route, with a full panel for plans, wallets and markups. Single businesses will usually prefer Interakt; agencies should compare the two partner offers in detail.
Verdict
For a business buying for itself, Interakt is hard to argue with on team size: every paid plan has unlimited agents, which removes the per-seat maths other tools force on you, and Instagram is included from Growth. The trade-off is that its listed message prices are higher than Meta's India rates (by about 10% on marketing and more on utility, by our arithmetic), unless you reach Enterprise, where it states no markup. For an agency, both companies offer a branded product. Interakt's ISV page states the promise (your brand, your pricing, your customers) without publishing the panel details or fees. Broadchat publishes what its partner panel does: plans, coupons, client wallets, per-country markups, your own payment gateway, sub-agencies on Enterprise. Ask both for a demo of the partner side before signing.
Choose Broadchat if
Agencies and software companies that want to run their own WhatsApp brand with full control of client plans, wallets, messaging markups and payment collection.
Choose Interakt if
Indian businesses with large or growing support teams that want unlimited agents, WhatsApp plus Instagram in one plan and a published INR price.

How the two products are built
Broadchat vs Interakt is a comparison between a product a business buys and a platform an agency resells. Interakt is a customer engagement product for WhatsApp, Instagram and RCS, sold on published INR plans to the business that uses it. Broadchat is a white-label WhatsApp Business API platform that agencies, resellers and software companies sell to their own clients. Interakt also has an ISV programme for partners who want to put their brand on it, which is why the two meet.
We build Broadchat. We read Interakt's pricing and partner pages on 12 Oct 2026, quote them as written and mark anything the pages do not state.
Why many businesses pick Interakt
Unlimited agents is the headline. A Lucknow coaching institute with fifteen counsellors pays the same Growth price as a shop with two staff, which is unusual in this market. Instagram is in every plan, catalogs and native payments arrive on Growth, and the Advanced plan adds branching chatbot flows, API calls and auto-assignment for ₹1,000 more a month. Quarterly and yearly billing cut the price by 8% and 20%.
The message-price question
Meta charges per delivered template message by category and country, and since 1 Oct 2026 also charges service replies after the first 1,000 per number each month. Some platforms pass Meta's rate through; others resell messages at their own price. Interakt lists its own prices per category on its pricing page. Compared with Meta's India rate card effective 1 Oct 2026, its Growth plan's marketing price is about 11% higher and its Advanced plan's about 10% higher; utility prices are higher by a larger percentage. These are our calculations, not figures Interakt states. On Enterprise, Interakt lists "No Markup Charges".
Whether this matters depends on volume. Take Rangoli Home, which sends 40,000 marketing messages a month: a 10% markup on the marketing rate is a real monthly cost to set against the plan fee. A clinic sending a few hundred appointment reminders will barely notice it. Our WhatsApp API pricing explainer shows how to estimate Meta's share.
On Broadchat, Meta's base rate per country and category is synced from Meta's rate card, and the partner chooses its markup (a percentage or a flat amount). Broadchat does not promise end businesses a zero markup, because that is each partner's decision.
The partner offer, side by side
Interakt's partner page lists four models: Freemium referral (zero cost to join, recurring commission), Premium (a dedicated lead pipeline), Build (the ISV track with white-label and APIs) and Strategic (high-volume enterprise). The ISV promise is short and clear, but fees, panel features and how client billing works are not published.
Broadchat's partner panel, by contrast, is the product. A partner such as Priya's agency in Pune can:
- Upload a logo and colours and use a ready subdomain, or its own domain with automatic SSL (Growth partner tier and above).
- Create plans and add-ons with its own prices and billing cycles, coupons and a free-trial plan.
- Set a markup over Meta's base rate for each country and category, so client wallets are charged the partner's price.
- Collect client payments through its own Razorpay, Stripe, UPI or bank transfer details.
- Log in as a client with Switch to to fix a template or a chatbot, and answer support tickets.
Sub-agencies and the Partner API sit on the Enterprise partner tier. For the business side of this model, read how to start a WhatsApp reseller business.
When Interakt is the better pick
- Your team is large and per-seat pricing elsewhere would hurt.
- Instagram DMs matter today; Broadchat's Instagram channel is still rolling out.
- You want to buy direct, with a published price and no reseller in between.
- You need a separate sales pipeline product with its own seats.

Frequently asked questions
Does Interakt charge a markup on WhatsApp messages?
Interakt lists its own per-category message prices on its pricing page, and for India they are above Meta's rate card effective 1 Oct 2026 by our arithmetic. Its Enterprise plan lists "No Markup Charges". Check the pricing page for the current figures.
Does Interakt have a white-label option?
Yes. Its partner page describes an ISV track with "ISV Whitelabel: Your brand. Your pricing. Your customers." and ISV APIs. Fees and panel details are not published, so ask for a demo of the partner side.
Does Broadchat support Instagram like Interakt?
Not yet for clients. The Instagram and Messenger channels are built but switched off until Meta completes a separate app review, so Broadchat describes them as rolling out. WhatsApp and website chat are live.
Which is better for a team of 20 agents?
If you are buying for your own business, Interakt's unlimited agents make it simple to budget. Through Broadchat, the agent limit is whatever your partner's plan sets, so compare the partner's quote with Interakt's plan price.
