10 best Wati alternatives in India for 2026, with prices from each vendor's own page

Ten Wati alternatives for Indian businesses and agencies, with plan prices, free trials, user limits and Meta-fee markup taken from each vendor's own pages on 1 Nov 2026.

By Broadchat teamPublished Updated 15 min read

In short

Wati's India plans start at ₹2,699 a month billed quarterly (Growth, 3 users, no extra seats) and go to ₹16,799 for Business. The strongest Wati alternatives in India depend on what pushes you away: Interakt for unlimited agents, Pabbly Chatflow or Getgabs for Meta's rates with 0% markup, AiSensy for a free plan and 5 agents from ₹1,500 a month, Gallabox for AI sales agents, and Broadchat if you are an agency that wants to resell WhatsApp under its own brand.

What to compare

  • Total monthly cost for your real number of agents, including extra seats and add-ons such as chatbots, AI credits or automation triggers.
  • What you pay per message: Meta's rate passed through, or the platform's own price list, and whether the markup is stated.
  • Shortest billing cycle you can buy (monthly, quarterly or yearly) and the trial or free plan before you commit.
  • Whether the chatbot builder, team inbox, API and webhooks are in your plan or only on higher tiers.
  • Integrations you use today, especially Shopify, WooCommerce, Razorpay and your CRM, and whether they cost extra.
  • For agencies: a white-label panel on your own domain, who sets client prices and who collects client payments.
  • How easily you can leave: your number and templates stay in your Meta business portfolio, but chatbots must be rebuilt.

The alternatives

  1. 1. Interakt

    Website

Best for: Indian teams with many agents who want WhatsApp and Instagram on one flat plan

A WhatsApp and Instagram engagement platform from the Jio Haptik group. Every paid plan includes unlimited agents, which is the clearest difference from Wati's per-seat model. Growth adds catalogs, native payments and public APIs; Advanced adds branching chatbot flows with API calls, auto-assignment and advanced webhooks. Its partner programme includes an ISV white-label track.

    Strengths

    • Unlimited agents on Growth, Advanced and Enterprise
    • WhatsApp and Instagram in one plan from Growth
    • Monthly billing available; 8% off quarterly and 20% off yearly
    • Enterprise plan states "No Markup Charges" on templates

    Watch out for

    • Its own India message prices sit about 10-12% above Meta's on marketing and more on utility below Enterprise (our arithmetic)
    • AI Agents (₹3,000 a month) and Sales CRM (₹2,499 a month with 5 sales seats) are paid add-ons
    • Branching chatbot flows need the Advanced plan; trial length is not stated

Pricing: Growth ₹2,799 and Advanced ₹3,799 a month (+taxes), 8% off quarterly, 20% off yearly; Enterprise on request. AI Agents add-on ₹3,000 a month with 100 free AI messages, then ₹0.50 for each AI message.

  2. 2. AiSensy

    Website

Best for: Small businesses that want a free plan, 5 agent seats and a low entry price

A WhatsApp marketing platform with a Free Forever plan and five paid tiers. Basic and Pro include five agent seats and unlimited contacts; the drag-and-drop Chatbot Builder and the AI Agent Builder are sold as add-ons. AiSensy publishes its own India message prices on its pricing page and offers a white-labelled version of the platform for partners.

    • Campaign scheduler, click tracking and APIs start on Pro, not Basic

Pricing: Basic ₹1,500, Pro ₹3,200, Premium ₹9,100, Unlimited ₹45,000 a month; Enterprise custom. 5% off quarterly, 10% off yearly. Extra agents ₹750 a month each.

Looking for WATI alternatives in India? The short answer: pick by the problem you are solving. If Wati's 3-user cap on Growth is the issue, look at Interakt (unlimited agents) or AiSensy (5 agents from ₹1,500 a month). If message cost is the issue, Pabbly Chatflow and Getgabs state 0% markup on Meta's fees. If you sell through AI agents and voice, try Gallabox. If you are an agency that wants its own branded product, compare Broadchat, AiSensy's white-label offer and Interakt's ISV track.

We checked every price below on each vendor's own pricing page on 1 Nov 2026. Prices exclude GST. Meta's own charges for template messages apply on every platform; where a vendor lists its own per-message prices we compare them with Meta's India rates of ₹0.8631 for marketing and ₹0.115 for utility and authentication (Meta rate card effective 1 Oct 2026, excl. GST). We build Broadchat, which is one of the ten options; we have tried to give it the same honest treatment, cons included.

What Wati costs today

Wati's India pricing page shows its prices billed quarterly: Growth ₹2,699 a month, Pro ₹5,799 and Business ₹16,799. On monthly billing they are ₹2,999, ₹6,499 and ₹18,499. Annual billing is offered only as "Save up to 10%", with no separate annual price shown. There is a 7-day free trial with no setup fee.

Seats are where the cost moves. Growth includes 3 users and says "No additional users". Pro and Business include 5 users, with extra users at ₹1,299 and ₹2,199 per user a month. Add-ons include automation triggers (₹1,000 a month for 1,000), Wati AI credits (₹1,600 a month for 2,000), extra WhatsApp numbers (₹2,499 a month per number) and the Shopify integration (USD 4.99 a month). Template messages are billed per message on top, with the rates on a separate rate card that is not printed on the pricing page.

None of this makes Wati a poor choice. Its plans are clearly published, it has a real trial, and its omnichannel inbox now covers Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and web chat as well as WhatsApp. The reasons teams look elsewhere are specific, and they are the sections below.

Why teams look for a Wati alternative

  • The 3-user cap on Growth. A team of four must move to Pro. Billed quarterly, that is ₹5,799 instead of ₹2,699 a month.
  • Add-ons stacking up. Automation triggers, AI credits, extra numbers and Shopify are each priced separately. A busy chatbot that runs out of its 1,000 included triggers on Growth needs another pack.
  • Message cost is not visible on the plan card. You have to open the rate card to compare it with Meta's own rates.
  • Agencies want their own brand. Wati's partner page describes reseller, technology and affiliate programmes with co-branded assets; we did not find a white-label panel. An agency that wants to sell under its own name and domain needs a different model.

Worked example: four agents and 10,000 marketing messages a month

Take Rangoli Home, a home-decor brand in Jaipur. Priya runs marketing with three support agents (four users), sends about 10,000 marketing template messages a month to Indian customers, and pays yearly where she can. The figures below are illustrative, built only from each vendor's published prices; they exclude GST, chatbot add-ons and service messages, and assume all 10,000 messages are delivered.

Platform and planPlan fee per monthMessage cost for 10,000 marketing messagesMonthly total
Pabbly Chatflow Standard (yearly, unlimited team members, 10,000 credits)₹1,499₹8,631 (Meta's rate, 0% markup)₹10,130
Interakt Growth (yearly, unlimited agents)₹2,239₹9,490 to ₹9,700 (its listed prices)₹11,729 to ₹11,939
AiSensy Basic (yearly, 5 agents)₹1,350₹10,900 (its listed price)₹12,250
Wati Pro (billed quarterly, as no annual price is published; Growth allows only 3 users)₹5,799At least ₹8,631; Wati's rate card applies₹14,430 or more
Gallabox Essential (yearly; Basic caps users at 3)₹5,599₹9,926 (its rate card)₹15,525

Two things stand out. First, at this volume the message bill is larger than the plan fee on every platform, so the markup matters more than the subscription. Second, the user cap decides the plan: a fourth agent pushes both Wati and Gallabox up a tier. If Priya sent 1,000 messages a month instead, the plan fee would dominate and AiSensy's or Getgabs' lower entry price would matter more. Run your own numbers with our WhatsApp API pricing explainer and the guide to what each message costs in India.

How to choose the right Wati alternative

A single business with a small team

Start with how many people will answer chats. Up to three, Wati Growth, Gallabox Basic and Getgabs are all workable. Four to nine, AiSensy (5 seats on Basic and Pro, 9 on Premium) and Interakt (unlimited) avoid an early upgrade. Then add the add-ons you will really use: a chatbot builder is extra on AiSensy, and branching flows need Interakt's Advanced plan.

A business sending high volumes

Above a few thousand marketing messages a month, markup decides the bill. Pabbly Chatflow and Getgabs state 0% markup. Gupshup passes Meta's fee at actuals and adds $0.001 for each message, which suits developers. Ask every other vendor to show its India rate card next to Meta's, and read how provider markup on Meta fees works before you sign.

A sales team running Click-to-WhatsApp ads

Look at Gallabox for AI agents and voice, and at DoubleTick if you prefer a demo-led purchase with AI agents in every plan. AiSensy includes its Click-to-WhatsApp Ads Manager on every plan. Remember that chats which start from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad are free for up to 7 days when you reply within 24 hours, whichever platform you use.

A Shopify brand

Zoko is built around Shopify, and AiSensy and Gallabox list Shopify integrations on their pricing pages. Interakt's page says its Shopify integration is included only on its Shopify plan, so ask which plan you need. On Wati, Shopify is a USD 4.99 a month add-on. Check which order and cart events each one sends as templates before you choose.

An agency or reseller

Decide first whether you want a referral commission or your own branded product. For your own brand, compare Broadchat, AiSensy's white-label offer, Interakt's ISV track, Getgabs' reseller panel and QuickReply.ai's white-label programme on three questions: who sets client prices, who collects client payments, and whether the vendor's name ever appears to your client. Our white-label vs referral comparison explains the trade-offs.

Questions to ask in every demo

  1. What will I pay in total each month for my number of agents, including every add-on I need?
  2. Show me your India rate card next to Meta's. What is your markup per category?
  3. Which features in this demo are on the plan I am buying, not a higher one?
  4. What is the shortest billing cycle, and what happens to unused message credits if I leave?
  5. Can I connect a number that stays on the WhatsApp Business app (coexistence)?
  6. How do I export contacts, tags and chat history if I move?

Moving from Wati without losing your number

Your WhatsApp number, its WhatsApp Business Account and your approved message templates belong to your Meta business portfolio, not to Wati. You connect the new provider through Embedded Signup or migrate the number, and the templates go with the account. What does not move: chatbot flows, automations, canned replies and any unused prepaid balance, which is a matter between you and Wati. Export contacts as CSV, rebuild your top three flows first, and plan the switch for a quiet day. The full checklist is in how to migrate a WhatsApp number to a new provider.

For agencies: selling WhatsApp under your own brand

If you are reading this because your clients ask for Wati and you would rather sell your own product, the model matters more than the feature list. With a referral programme you earn a commission and the client belongs to the vendor. With white-label you own the client relationship, set the price and collect the money. Broadchat partners get a branded panel on their own domain, set client plans and messaging markups, and take payments through their own Razorpay, Stripe, UPI or bank account. See how to start a WhatsApp reseller business, the Broadchat vs Wati comparison and the partner programme.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest Wati alternative in India?

On published plan prices checked on 1 Nov 2026, Getgabs Basic at ₹699 a month is the lowest paid plan, and Pabbly Chatflow and AiSensy have free plans. At higher volumes, Pabbly Chatflow and Getgabs can work out cheapest overall because both state 0% markup on Meta's fees. Always add Meta's message charges and any add-ons before comparing.

Which Wati alternative has unlimited agents?

Interakt includes unlimited agents on its Growth, Advanced and Enterprise plans, and Pabbly Chatflow includes unlimited team members on its paid plans. Zoko's Starter plan also has unlimited agents with no seat fee, but Zoko charges in US dollars and adds its own fee per conversation on Starter.

How much does Wati cost in India in 2026?

Wati's India pricing page on 1 Nov 2026 lists Growth at ₹2,699 a month billed quarterly (₹2,999 monthly), Pro at ₹5,799 (₹6,499 monthly) and Business at ₹16,799 (₹18,499 monthly), excluding GST. Annual billing is shown only as "Save up to 10%", with no separate annual price. Extra users on Pro and Business cost ₹1,299 and ₹2,199 a month, and template messages are billed per message on top.

Which Wati alternatives do not mark up Meta's message charges?

Pabbly Chatflow and Getgabs state 0% markup and show Meta's India rates. Zoko has you pay Meta directly but adds its own fee per conversation on lower tiers. Gupshup bills Meta's fee at actuals plus $0.001 for each message. Interakt removes its markup only on Enterprise.

Which Wati alternative offers white-label for agencies?

Broadchat is built as a white-label platform sold through partners. AiSensy describes a white-labelled version with custom domain and pricing, Interakt an ISV white-label track, Getgabs a white-label reseller panel and QuickReply.ai a tiered white-label programme. Wati's partner page describes reseller, technology and affiliate programmes with co-branded assets instead.

Will I lose my WhatsApp number or templates if I leave Wati?

No. The number, its WhatsApp Business Account and approved templates sit in your Meta business portfolio. You connect them to the new provider through Embedded Signup or a number migration. Chatbots, automations and any unused prepaid balance do not move, so plan to rebuild flows and use up credits first.

Is there a Wati alternative with a free trial and no card?

Gallabox offers a 7-day trial with no card and 500 AI credits, and Zoko a 7-day free trial with no contracts. AiSensy and Pabbly Chatflow have free plans instead of trials. DoubleTick says it does not offer a free trial and asks you to book a demo.

Do all Wati alternatives use the official WhatsApp Business API?

All ten platforms on this page connect numbers through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. That means Meta's rules apply everywhere: template approval, opt-in, messaging limits and per-message charges. No platform can promise approval, a verified badge or a higher messaging limit; those are Meta's decisions.
