Check your WhatsApp number's quality rating and messaging limit
Where to see a connected WhatsApp number's quality rating, messaging limit, verification status and wallet balance, synced live from Meta.
By Broadchat teamPublished 1 min read
Before you start
- A WhatsApp number already connected as a channel (see Connect your WhatsApp number).
- Access to the Channels menu for your workspace.
Steps
- Open Channels → All Channels.
- Find the channel for the number you want to check.
- The channel card shows, synced live from Meta: the number status (connected, flagged or restricted), the quality rating (High, Medium or Low, shown green, yellow or red), the current messaging limit tier, business verification status and the channel's wallet balance.
- Click the channel for more detail, including recent status changes if your plan shows channel health history.
What the quality rating and messaging limit mean
- Quality rating reflects recent recipient feedback (blocks, reports, replies) on messages from that number. A Low (red) rating can lead Meta to pause an increase in messaging limit, or in repeated cases lower it.
- Messaging limit is how many unique people outside an open 24-hour window the number's business portfolio can message in a rolling 24 hours: 250, 2,000, 10,000, 100,000 or Unlimited. See WhatsApp messaging limits explained for how each tier is reached.
- If the card shows a flagged or restricted status, new campaign sends may be paused by Meta until the status clears; replies inside an open window are usually still possible.
