Gallabox vs Interakt: which WhatsApp platform suits a growing D2C or sales team?

In Gallabox vs Interakt, the deciding question is what you want the plan to include. Interakt prices the inbox low, includes unlimited agents and commerce features, and sells AI and a sales CRM separately. Gallabox prices higher, limits users per plan, and includes AI credits, AI agents (from Essential), more active flows and, on its top plan, AI voice. Both are built on Meta's official WhatsApp Business API and both serve Indian businesses.

Worked example: an eight-agent skincare brand on Shopify

Illustrative only. Priya runs a skincare brand in Bengaluru that sells through Shopify. Eight people handle pre-sales questions, COD confirmations and returns. A typical month:

• 20,000 marketing templates (launches, restock alerts and offers to opted-in customers)
• 8,000 utility templates (order confirmations, COD confirmations, shipping updates)
• 2,000 authentication templates (checkout login codes)
• 4,000 service replies, of which 3,000 are charged after the free 1,000

Eight users rule out Gallabox Basic. The nearest Gallabox fit is Essential (6 users) plus two extra users at ₹1,200 each.

What Priya can conclude:

• Seats decide this case. Interakt's unlimited agents mean the plan line stays at ₹2,799; Gallabox's eight users cost ₹9,399 a month billed quarterly.
• Message charges are close. Interakt is about ₹692 higher on marketing, Gallabox about ₹142 lower on utility; overall Gallabox's messages cost ₹571.90 more here.
• AI parity narrows the gap. With Interakt's AI Agents add-on, the gap to Gallabox yearly is about ₹2,772 a month. Gallabox Essential includes 2,000 AI credits, while Interakt's add-on includes 100 AI messages and charges for more, so heavy AI use could move the totals.
• If Priya had three agents, Gallabox Basic (₹2,999 quarterly) would be within about ₹200 of Interakt Growth on plan price, and the comparison would hinge on AI and flows instead.

Reasons to choose Gallabox

• AI is the product, not an add-on. AI agents on WhatsApp and Instagram from Essential, monthly AI credits on every plan, and AI voice on Advanced.
• More automation headroom. Up to 100 active flows on Advanced.
• Sales pipeline. A pipeline board for moving leads from qualified to demo to proposal.
• Utility-heavy sending. A lower utility, authentication and service price than Interakt Growth.
• Predictable limits. Users, flows, AI credits and support SLAs are stated plan by plan.

Gallabox is less suited to large support teams on a budget, or to businesses that want monthly billing.

Interakt is less suited to teams that want AI agents bundled into the plan, or to sales teams that need a pipeline without buying the separate Sales CRM plan.

Migrating between Gallabox and Interakt

Your number, display name, business verification and quality rating are held in your Meta business portfolio, so either move keeps your WhatsApp identity. The work is in the software:

1. Check your billing commitment. Gallabox bills at least quarterly; time the move near the end of a paid period.
2. Export contacts, opt-in records, tags and template text. Interakt Growth allows 25 custom fields and 30 tags; Advanced 30 and 45.
3. Reconnect the number through the new platform's Embedded Signup, with the two-step verification PIN ready.
4. Reconnect Shopify and test order, COD and abandoned-cart triggers with a test order before turning on live automations.
5. Rebuild AI agents and flows. Write down prompts, qualification questions and knowledge sources before you leave.

If you want to resell under your own brand

Agencies comparing these two for clients should read the partner terms closely. Interakt's partner page offers an ISV white-label track ("Your brand. Your pricing. Your customers.") plus referral and enterprise tracks. Gallabox's site invites partners to deliver WhatsApp automation to clients for recurring revenue, but we found no white-label offer, so expect a referral or reseller model unless Gallabox confirms otherwise.
