In short

Choose Interakt when more than five people answer chats, you want Instagram in the same plan, or most of your spend is marketing messages: its paid plans include unlimited agents and its marketing price is closer to Meta's. Choose AiSensy when you want the lowest entry subscription, a free plan, Click-to-WhatsApp tools and a white-label partner offer, and your team fits in five seats. For utility-heavy senders the message prices are close.

Key takeaways

  • Interakt Growth costs ₹2,799 a month (₹2,239 a month billed yearly) with unlimited agents; AiSensy Basic is listed at ₹1,500 a month with 1 owner and 5 agent logins.
  • For marketing messages to India, Interakt Growth lists ₹0.958 and AiSensy ₹1.09, against Meta's ₹0.8631 (rates effective 1 Oct 2026, excl. GST).
  • For utility messages AiSensy's ₹0.145 is slightly below Interakt Growth's ₹0.150, so reminder-heavy businesses see little difference.
  • Branching chatbot flows with API calls need Interakt Advanced; on AiSensy the drag-and-drop Chatbot Builder is a ₹2,500 a month add-on.
  • Both have partner programs with a white-label track: AiSensy's offers custom domain, logo and pricing; Interakt's ISV track says "Your brand. Your pricing. Your customers."

AiSensy vs Interakt comes down to seats and message mix. Interakt, from the Jio Haptik group, includes unlimited agents on every paid plan and charges less than AiSensy for each marketing message. AiSensy has a lower entry price, a free plan and five agent logins on its entry plans, but a higher price on marketing messages. Both run on Meta's official WhatsApp Business API and both offer white-label tracks to partners.

We checked both vendors' own pages on 1 Nov 2026. Anything a vendor does not publish is marked "Not stated". Prices exclude GST unless noted.

Quick decision guide

  • Five or fewer people on WhatsApp, low volume, tight budget: AiSensy Basic is the lower subscription.
  • Six or more agents, or a growing support team: Interakt, because seats never add cost on Growth or Advanced.
  • Mostly marketing broadcasts: Interakt; its marketing price is about 13 paise lower on each message than AiSensy's in the rate tables below.
  • Mostly utility reminders and service replies: roughly a tie on message prices; decide on features.
  • WhatsApp plus Instagram DMs in one inbox: Interakt includes both from Growth.
  • A free plan while you get API access and test ads: AiSensy's Forever Free plan, or Interakt's free Starter (one channel only).

Message figures are what each vendor charges for one delivered message to an Indian number, rates effective 1 Oct 2026 for AiSensy (stated on its page) and as listed by Interakt on 1 Nov 2026. Meta itself charges ₹0.8631 for a delivered marketing message and ₹0.115 for utility, authentication and service beyond the free 1,000 (Meta rate card effective 1 Oct 2026, excl. GST). Since 1 Oct 2026 utility templates are charged even inside an open customer service window, so both vendors' utility prices apply to every reminder you send. The markup column is our own arithmetic.

Worked example: Sunrise Clinic's month

Illustrative only. Sunrise Clinic is a multi-speciality clinic in Indore. Six front-desk staff share WhatsApp for bookings and reports. Its month:

  • 2,000 marketing templates (health-camp and package announcements to opted-in patients)
  • 6,000 utility templates (appointment reminders, report-ready alerts)
  • 4,000 service replies, of which 3,000 are charged after Meta's free 1,000
Line (excl. GST)Meta's rates onlyAiSensy Basic + 1 extra agentInterakt Growth (monthly)Interakt Advanced (monthly)
Plan and seats₹0₹2,250₹2,799₹3,799
2,000 marketing₹1,726.20₹2,180₹1,916₹1,898
6,000 utility₹690₹870₹900₹840
3,000 charged service₹345₹435₹384₹381
Total₹2,761.20₹5,735₹5,999₹6,918

What this tells the clinic:

  • AiSensy is ₹264 lower on monthly billing, even after paying ₹750 for the sixth agent, because the clinic sends few marketing messages.
  • Billed yearly, Interakt Growth drops to ₹2,239, making its total ₹5,439, about ₹296 below AiSensy. Yearly billing ties up cash up front, so weigh that.
  • Every new hire changes it. Each additional front-desk person adds ₹750 a month on AiSensy and nothing on Interakt.
  • Branching bots (for example, "Choose department, then doctor, then slot") need Interakt Advanced or AiSensy's ₹2,500 Chatbot Builder. With that add-on AiSensy's total becomes ₹8,235, against ₹6,918 on Interakt Advanced.

Who should pick AiSensy

  • Solo founders and small teams who want to start on a free plan, apply for API access and run their first Click-to-WhatsApp ad campaigns before paying.
  • Teams of up to five agents with modest volume, where the lower plan price matters more than the per-message price.
  • Businesses that already use Dialogflow and want to plug it in.
  • Agencies that want a white-labelled panel under their own domain and logo.

Think twice if marketing broadcasts are the bulk of your spend or you expect your team to grow past five agents.

Who should pick Interakt

  • Support and sales teams with many agents, or with part-time staff who all need a login.
  • Brands that run WhatsApp and Instagram DMs together.
  • Shopify sellers who want catalog, WhatsApp Pay and a checkout bot from the Growth plan.
  • Developers who need webhooks for incoming and chatbot messages (Advanced).
  • Businesses heading for high volume that may qualify for Enterprise and its no-markup template pricing.

Think twice if you want AI agents included in the plan (Interakt sells them as a ₹3,000 a month add-on) or if you need branching flows but only want to pay for Growth.

Moving from AiSensy to Interakt, or the reverse

Your WhatsApp number, display name and quality rating stay with your Meta business portfolio, so switching is a platform change, not a new account. In practice:

  1. Pick a quiet week. Avoid sale periods; there is a short gap while the number moves.
  2. Export contacts with opt-in proof, tags, custom attributes and template text. Interakt Growth allows 25 custom fields and 30 tags; if you use more on AiSensy, plan how to merge them.
  3. Spend down or settle prepaid credit. Both bill messages from a prepaid balance.
  4. Reconnect the number through the new platform's Embedded Signup and confirm your two-step verification PIN.
  5. Rebuild automations: chatbots, AI agent knowledge, Shopify triggers and webhook URLs do not move with the number.

Our guide to moving a number to a new provider lists the checks in order.

If you want to resell under your own brand

Both vendors court agencies. AiSensy's partner page offers its platform under your brand with custom domain, logo and pricing, along with a 20% recurring affiliate commission (minimum payout ₹999). Interakt's partner page lists a free referral track, a Premium track with leads, an ISV white-label track and an enterprise track. Ask each for the partner contract, the wholesale message rates and who owns the client relationship. Another option is a platform built only for resale: Broadchat is a white-label WhatsApp Business API platform on Meta's Cloud API that agencies sell under their own brand, domain and prices, with partner pricing per client account on request. See how the white-label model works and the margins resellers typically plan for.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper, AiSensy or Interakt?

AiSensy's Basic plan (₹1,500 a month) is cheaper than Interakt Growth (₹2,799 monthly or ₹2,239 billed yearly), but Interakt charges less for each marketing message and never charges for extra agents. Small, utility-heavy teams often pay less on AiSensy; larger teams and heavy marketers usually pay less on Interakt. Compare on your own monthly message mix.

Does Interakt really include unlimited agents?

Interakt's pricing page lists unlimited agents on Growth, Advanced and Enterprise (all roles except Sales CRM roles), and unlimited owner-role agents on the free Starter plan. Sales CRM seats are a separate plan at ₹2,499 a month with 5 sales agents included.

How much do AiSensy and Interakt charge per marketing message in India?

AiSensy lists ₹1.09 and Interakt ₹0.958 on Growth (₹0.949 on Advanced) for each delivered marketing message to India, against Meta's ₹0.8631 (rate card effective 1 Oct 2026, excl. GST). Interakt's Enterprise plan lists templates as included with no markup.

Can I use Instagram with AiSensy or Interakt?

Interakt includes WhatsApp and Instagram together from the Growth plan; its free Starter plan lets you pick one of the two. AiSensy's pricing page we checked focuses on WhatsApp; Instagram support is not stated there, so ask AiSensy directly.

Which is better for a Shopify store, AiSensy or Interakt?

Both list Shopify. Interakt adds catalog, WhatsApp Pay, a checkout bot and order management from Growth, which suits stores selling inside WhatsApp. AiSensy lists Shopify and WooCommerce integrations on Basic and Pro. Test abandoned-cart and order-update flows on both before you decide.

Will I lose my templates if I switch from AiSensy to Interakt?

Possibly. Templates are approved on a WhatsApp Business Account. If the new platform connects the same account they may remain; if it creates a new one you must resubmit them. Keep a copy of every template's text and category before you switch.
