Build a chatbot

Steps

1. Open Chatbots → Chatbots and click Create Botflow. The builder opens with a new bot called "Untitled"; click the name to rename it.
2. Set up the trigger: start on any New Message, on Match Keyword (for example message is "hi" or contains "price"), on Hot Keywords that restart the bot at any time, or on new or updated ecommerce orders. Leave the channel empty to run on all channels.
3. Click the green + to add steps, then connect them:
   • Send Message: text, media, buttons, lists, templates, products, locations and more.
   • Ask Question: ask for text, a choice, an image, a location and so on, and save the answer to a contact field.
   • AI Router: understand what the customer wants and branch accordingly.
   • Assign to Agent: hand the chat to your team in the inbox.
   • Smart Wait, Goto, Save Variable Value and automation app steps for advanced flows.
4. Click Save Workflow. An amber dot means there are unsaved changes.
5. Turn on the Active switch in the builder (or on the chatbot list) to make the bot live.
